Now available at your county clerk office.

How much does it cost?
The license plates cost an additional $35. Of that amount $15.62 goes to the Jeff Roth Cycling Foundation to improve cycling in Tennessee.

Where do the funds go?
Funding from license plate fees support initiatives that promote bicycle safety and create awareness about the 3-ft law. This helps make roads safer for all users of the right-of-way.

What do I need to do?
You can switch to the "Share the Road" license plate at your next renewal. If you want one now you can switch plates at any time at your county clerk office. The renewal fee will be prorated for the remaining time on your existing license plate. The state requires you to turn in the existing license plate.
