Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Ride of Silence in Maryville. We had 42 cyclists, up from 30 riders last year. We were also joined by a member of the Maryville Police Department Bike Patrol who provided traffic control at some of the intersections, a great help! Here is an article in Blount Today:

There were three other cities in Tennessee that also participated this year, thanks to Lawrance Mize in Clarksville, Cary Way in Murfreesboro and Tim Hall in Nashville.

We will be riding in Maryville, TN this year. The ride starts and ends at the parking area next to the Blount County Courthouse, departing at 7pm. See the map below, cue sheets are here <PDF> and <XLS>. The ride is ~8 miles covering the downtown Maryville area.

Look HERE to see if a ride has been organized in your area...if not, please consider to organize your own ride! Details and resources are available at the Ride of Silence website. You can find posters here <8.5x11> <11x17>, feel free to update for your local area. So far, rides have been organized in Clarksville, Murfreesboro and Nashville.
